Connecticut’s in-person early-voting period for the November 3 state and federal general election begins Monday, October 19, and runs through Sunday, November 1, according to the Secretary of the State’s official 2026 election calendar.
State rules require early-voting sites to offer same-day voter registration to eligible residents during the general-election early-voting period. Ordinary voting hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with extended 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. hours scheduled Tuesday, October 27, and Thursday, October 29.
Voters should confirm the location designated by their municipality before traveling: early-voting locations may differ from regular Election Day polling places. Same-day registration requirements and location information are available from the Secretary of the State.
Election Day voting on November 3 is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The election includes federal, statewide and other applicable local contests.
