Georgia’s in-person early-voting period for the November 3 general election began Tuesday, October 13, and continues through Friday, October 30, according to the state’s official election calendar.
Unlike Election Day, voters may use an authorized early-voting location anywhere within their county of residence, not necessarily their usual precinct. Counties establish their own locations and hours, and voters should use the Secretary of State’s My Voter Page or contact the county registrar to verify the appropriate location.
Georgia requires early voting on Saturday, October 17, and Saturday, October 24. Some counties also offer Sunday hours. State election officials warn that daily hours and availability vary by county.
The standard registration deadline for the November general election was October 5. Voters should check their registration and review the state’s photo-identification requirements before going to the polls.
The general election includes federal, statewide and local contests and ballot questions. The early-voting period is part of the regular election process and is not evidence of election results.
