Colorado voters whose November 3 ballots have a missing signature, a signature discrepancy or a missing ID can still take action to have their votes counted. The Colorado secretary of state sets the deadline at 11:59 p.m. Mountain time on Thursday, November 12.
If your county sent you a notice, check which problem it identifies. For a signature issue, the state offers an online form to send your signed affidavit and a copy of your ID to your county. The county must receive the materials by the deadline. The state calendar also lists November 12 as the deadline to provide missing identification for a mail or provisional ballot.
Voters can use the Colorado affidavit and ID submission form or consult the secretary of state’s 2026 election calendar for the deadline.
